The "Claudette" (Dahlia) dahlia with its gargantuan, double flowers consisting of beautifully shaped, tear-shaped petals is a truly unique variety. The undisputed splendour of the pink-purple inflorescences is additionally underscored by the abundance of the blooming. This medium tall (50-70 cm), bushy perennial is formally covered with blooms from July to October. Thanks to the magnificent form and colour of the inflorescences, the "Claudette" dahlia provides excellent material for fresh bouquets. It may successfully act as a feature in the centre of a lawn in smaller gardens. It should become a valued flower bed component in larger gardens.

Dahlia rhizomes should be planted in the ground in spring on sunny sites. The variety that we proudly present here tolerates partial shade without any loss to the volume of the blooms. The soil should be moist, not too heavy and rich in humus. The pictoresque dahlia tufts with their inflorescences in a cool, unique shade of pink look great in company of lilies, phloxes, gladioli, rudbeckias, hollyhocks and other flowers of the summer. Combining it with other dahlia varieties with double flowers, such as "Avignon", "Lake Ontario", "Peaches and Cream" and "White Aster", brings excellent results, too.
