The gladioli are flowering plants of the iris (Iridaceae) family, whose charm accompanies mankind for centuries. Even though aesthetics is a truly subjective matter, the majority of people who face gladioli name them one of the most beautiful garden plants. The "Nori" variety offered here dazzles with blooms in an inspiring, purple colour and white spots spreading in the centres of the blooms. In order to enjoy the summer flowering period (July - August), you would need to meet some simple requirements. First of all, the bulbs need to be planted at the end of April in fertile, permeable soil, 10 cm deep. A proper site is of the similarly high importance. It should definitely be sunny. The fact that gladioli do not survive frosts determines the end of the vegetation period - you would need to excavate them as soon as the winter right behind the corner. Store them safely in the appropriate conditions. Watering plants during drought periods belongs to the most important care measures. We also recommend to use fertilizers and weed the site in case it is needed. Gladioli are truly universal plants that may be used in variety of ways. They harmonise with other species of similar habit and are widely used as cut flowers.

This offer is valid for 5 bulbs of the "Nori" gladiolus, sized sized 12/14. Helpful growing and planting information have been included in the set.
