The "Trogon" Asiatic lily is a plant that delights with its appearance, high resistance to diseases, and low temperatures. Vegetation form: bulbous perennial herbaceous plant

Growth form: lilies take on an erect growth form. Their strong stems end with loose clusters of flowers.

Height: about 70 centimetres

Flower colour: combination of pastel pink and yellow. Inner parts of the petals are decorated with small dark spots.

Flower type: panicle-shaped flower clusters consist of single, broadly opening cup-shaped flowers. Each of them consists of six tepals. Distinctive, long anthers add a touch of subtlety to those lilies.

Flowering period: June to - July. One plant develops between five and eight large flowers.

Foliage: the alternate leaves are elongated, shiny, and bright green.

Site: Asiatic lily grows well on a moderately moist, loosened, permeable soil that contains large amount of humus. It produces the most flowers on sunny sites. Lilies develop less flower buds in partial shade, but grow well there apart from that.

Planting: 12-15 centimetres is the right depth for planting scaled bulbs.

Planting period: Lily bulbs should be planted in spring or autumn.

Planting distance: Asiatic lilies belong to plants that require substantial space in order to let them shine. Keep the bulbs 20 to 25 centimetres apart.
