"Ivory Floradale" tulip is a beautiful Darwin-hybrid that develops creamy-white blooms. Large, nicely shaped flower heads are the most important feature of this variety. The saturated colour strikes with stylish fashion and the strong, stiff stalks only add to the charm of this plant. Ivory-coloured blooms harmonise well with differently coloured varieties, but are a great decoration on their own, too.

Tulips that bloom in April and May should be planted in autumn, starting mid-September. In order for the bulbs to develop well, they need plenty of sunlight, although they tolerate partial shade. Planting depth should amount to 12 cm and the distance between plants: 12 – 15 cm. Tulips like moderately moist, fertile, medium compact and permeable soils. Tulips are frost resistant, but they would only survive unharmed when covered with timber twigs or dried foliage.

This variety forms a valuable part of the perennial borders, plantings in free space and designed flower beds. You may force-grow it, plant it in pots and boxes or grow it for cut flowers. These plants reach height of 50-60 cm.

The package contains 5 "Ivory Floradale" tulip, sized 11/12 cm. Plant growing instructions were printed on the package.
