Basil ‘Minette’ is a very unique and interesting basil variety, which is ball-shaped, and whose leaves produce a beautiful aroma. This plant is commonly used as an addition to various dishes, especially to cottage cheeses, fish, meat, salads, casseroles or sauces. Basil ‘Minette’ is also recognised for its medicinal properties. It can act as a remedy for cough; it stimulates digestion and helps in treating urinary tract infections.
Growing: sow the seeds from March to April. The plants should be grown in rows in medium spacings. This variety is suitable for pots. Harvest the plants from July to October.
