Cinnamon Basil is an annual variety with lovely leaves that come in a dark yellowish-green colour with red veins. This plant has a very characteristic flavour and aroma of cinnamon. Thanks to this, Cinnamon Basil is a delicious seasoning which is ideal for salads, sauces and cakes. Used with tomatoes, it emphasizes their flavour. What is more, this variety stimulates digestion and soothes cough.
Growing: sow the seeds from March to April. Plant out into a permanent position in 25x30cm spacings in the second half of May. This variety flowers from June to August. The plants are ready to be harvested from June to August or when the buds have fully developed.
