Dahlia ‘Collarette Dandy Mix’ is a wonderful mix of lovely rampant annual plants that grow 40 to 50 centimetres in height, producing a plethora of decorative inflorescences in a truly unique shape and outstanding decorative potential. The edge of each flower is fairly large and makes a colourful collar surround for the yellow flowers on the inside. Dahlia ‘Collarette Dandy Mix’ is relatively easy to cultivate and looks beautiful particularly when grown in planters or flower beds.
Growing: sow the seeds in pots or covered pallet planters in April. The seeds germinate in 10 to 14 days at 18-20°C. Plant the seedlings out into a permanent position in 40-50cm spacings in late May, when there is no risk of frost. The plants thrive in relatively fertile soils in dry sunny positions.
