EXTRA long lasting Osmocote conifer fertilizer - Substral® - 1.5 kg is a product that provides plants with complete fertilization over the entire season. One application in the vegetational period would be enough to supply plants with all necessary nutrients. Osmocote fertilizer presented here is rich in micronutrients. Its most notable feature is high efficiency, as even 85% of the nutrients it contains is absorbed by the plants. Its composition allows you to properly feed conifer trees and shrubs, rhododendrons, azaleas and many other acidophilic plants.

The product offered here in our garden store is available in granulated form that significantly facilitates application. You only need to broadcast it evenly around the plants and gently mix with the soil. This slow-release fertilizer would work for up to 6 months. The feeding process takes place gradually, as this fertilizer releases small doses of the nutrients to the soil every day. It is activated by soil humidity and temperature. It is adjusted to the plant growth rate, what practically eliminates the risk of over fertilization and leaf burn. We recommend to use this product in order to strengthen freshly planted or transplanted plants.

Application method:
From April to August. Basic dose: 50 grams per 1 m of plant height. Tree height (during planting) 40-100 cm = 25 g, over 1 m = 50 grams; (Mature plants): 50 grams per 1 metre of tree height. Shrub (during planting) 25 g. (Mature plants) 40 grams per 1 m2 - lower growing, prostrate varieties, 75 grams per 1 m2 - ornamental species. Perennials: (during planting) 5 g. (Mature plants) 40 grams per 1 m2. Terrace plants: mix Osmocote with the soil at a rate of 6g per /1 litre of soil in pots and planters.
