Hollyhock ‘Chater's Double Yellow’ is one of the larger varieties of this biennial plant; it grows up to 2.5 metres in height. As for its decorative side, this charming species boasts very attractive double yellow flowers that are very desirable for making flower arrangements. The flowers collectively make lovely spike-shaped inflorescences. Particularty outstanding when grown in clusters, Hollyhock ‘Chater's Double Yellow’ is highly suitable for a cut flower as well as for rustic gardens.
Growing: sow the seeds in pallet planters, pots or in a seedbed from April to May. Plant out into a permanent position in 50-70cm spacings from August to September. This plant grows best in deeply cultivated fertile soils in sunny positions.
