The low growing "Atos" snapdragon (Anthirrhinum majus nanum) that produces pink blooms is an annual, undemanding plant that perfectly fits onto flower beds and borders. It looks truly unique with large numbers of the butterfly-shaped, bilabiate blooms that are gathered in large spikes. Small, dark green leaves that cover the stems provide splendid setting for the flowers and underscore their warm, distinct colouring. This variety that is available in our store grows up to 40 cm tall. It fits into all kinds of arrangements on borders, edgings, flower beds and balcony boxes. Please note, that the soil for flowering plants' cultures needs to be fertile and moderately moist, while the site should be sunny for the majority of the day. If provided with such conditions, the variety presented here will produce blooms at the beginning of July and bloom abundantly and reliably until end of August.
Seeds of the low growing "Atos" snapdragon are sown in spring to pots at home or onto a hotbed. Prick out the seedlings to peat pots. Hardened seedlings may be transplanted outside at the beginning of May already.
