Onion "Kristine" (Allium cepa) is considered one of the most productive varieties that supply high quality bulbs with high storage capacity. Excellent vigour and the tendency to even shattering of leaves, what makes harvest much easier, are the main advantages of this variety. Round, regularly shaped bulbs consist of densely packed, juicy, crunchy and creamy scales with a nice, slightly savoury taste. They are rich in vitamins (A, C, E, K and B vitamins) and minerals (kalium, calcium, phosphorus, iron and zinc, among others). Consumption of onions mildens ailments of the upper respiratory tract, lowers blood pressure and improves the overall resistance of the body.

"Kristine" onion seeds can be sown directly onto the vegetable bed, skipping the seedling growing stage. Cultivation should start in spring after appropriate preparation of the soil, that needs to be permeable and rich in humus. Consumption-ready onions can be harvested in August or September.

Each package contains 3 g of "Kristine" onion seeds. Package information contains a growing guide and the sow-by date.
