Onion "Polanowska" is big hit among the light-skin varieties. Its value has been recognised in prestigious competitions, as the Golden Medal Polagra Farm 2005 and Agro Polska 2008 award might indicate.

This variety is famous for its large bulbs often exceeding 7 cm in diameter with a tight, strong peel and juicy flesh that is resistant to mechanical damage. The onions can be eaten directly or used as a base for spring onions. Thanks to their exquisite taste they can be eaten directly after harvesting. Onions of this variety can also be stored for a long time thanks to their resistance to funghi diseases due to their strong, waxy covering on their skins.

"Polanowska" is a late variety intended for spring sowing. It should be harvested from August until October, while its chives break up evenly.

Each packet contains 5 g of seeds. Growing guide and sow-by date are included in the package information.
