The "Titan" radish (Raphanus sativus) variety fully deserves its mythological name. The plant produces extremely large tap roots (5-6 cm of average diameter) that are round, covered by a vividly reddish-pink skin that shelters white flesh. They are crisp, tasty, not too savoury and will not become ligneous with time.
The seeds should be sown in rows with 20 cm spacings between them. Seeds should be provided with plenty of space, as the large roots need place for unhindered growth. "Titan" radish brings plentiful harvest in all permeable, not too dry, humous soils and requires a lot of sun. Tapr roots from the sowing executed from May to August can be harvested from June until mid-October.
Each packet contains 10 g of "Titan" radish seeds. Growing guide and sow-by date are included in the package information.
