Red English Daisy is a biennial plant that grows 15 to 20 centimetres in height with beautiful rich red flowers. Cultivated as an early spring potted plant, it is very often used as a cut flower for making outstanding flower arrangements. Red English Daisy is highly recommended to be grown in flower beds or planters.
Growing: sow the seeds in boxes or in pallet planters from June to July. Cover the seeds with half a centimeter worth of soil. The seeds germinate in 7 to 14 days at 20-25°C. Plant out into a permanent position in 15x20cm spacings in September. This variety grows well in sunny or semi-shaded positions. The plants flower from April to July. For plants best suitable for a cut flower, sow the seeds under cover in early spring.
