Bryza potato is a mid-late variety, producing round tubers with shallowly placed buds. Their peel, that feels a bit rough, is yellow and covers flesh of the same colour. This delicious variety does not darken when raw and cooked and belongs to BC cooking type, meaning it is not too compact and slightly floury. These potatoes are used in food processing: dried, turned into flakes, or puréed. At home, you can use them to prepare delicious pancakes and all kinds of dumplings, icluding gnocchi. The structure of this potato becomes slightly less moist and crumbles slightly after boiling. Most consumers rate this potato as delicious and "meeing their requirements." Variety's resistance to diseases is relatively good, the highest to viruses, and medium to other pathogens. It has standard storage durability. The Bryza variety yields crops after 148 days of vegetation.

When planting potatoes, do not only observe the date (generally April) but rather air and soil temperature. As soon as the soil warms up to 8-10⁰C ten centimetres deep, it means you can plant seed potatoes in the field. The calibre available in our store should be planted 28 to 30 centimetres apart, in rows every 75 centimetres. After hilling, the tubers should be 15 to 16 centimetres deep in soil. Bryza is a variety with medium soil requirements, i.e. it grows on most soils. All soil that is not too compact and properly cultivated, is suitable for growing potatoes. Make sure that the site is sunny.
