Vineta is an early German variety, highly appreciated by farmers throughout Europe. Vineta belongs the most famous potato cultivars, one of the reasons being its high storability and the other preserving the taste and appearance during that period. Tubers of this variety do not impress with their size, they reach a standard weight of 90-110 grams. One plant on average produces 10 to 12 tubers. The share of high-quality crop in the total yield is very high. The colour of the peel depends on the type of soil in which they grew. The peel can be slightly meshy on the surface, which is most often caused by small water shortages. The light yellow flesh is highly valued for its taste. It does not darken when peeled and still raw, nor after boiling.

The cultivation of Vineta yields the best results in light to medium soil. Presented variety has moderate water requirements, which allows it to tolerate periodical drought quite well. Plant offered seed potatoes at a sunny position that heats up quickly, in permeable, well-drained soil. Put tubers 20 to 40 centimetres apart in rows every 60 to 90 centimetres. Once planted, potatoes do not require time-consuming care. The most important is weed control and ad hoc protection against pests and diseases.
