Tomato "Hubal" (Lycopersicon esculentum) is a medium early variety that shows high productivity. This determinate plant grows rapidly, developing slender stems. The fruit are gathered in clusters, a few per each, and may reach average weight of 120 - 140 g. They are round, regularly shaped and smooth with a faint rippling. They do not develop green shoulders. The crimson-red flesh stands out with excellent taste and contains plenty of lycopene. The berries retain excellent quality and freshness for even 10 days after the harvest. Stored "Hubal" tomatoes do not become soft nor lose their taste. They are widely used in processing industry for juices and concentrate.

Due to the long vegetation period, 110 - 120 days in case of the "Hubal" tomato, we recommend cultivation from seedlings produced in a heated room. Sow tomato seeds to pots or containers end of March / beginning of April already. Transfer the seedlings outside after hardening, but no earlier than in the second half of May, when the risk of last frosts has passed. Choose a sunny, wind-sheltered site. Fruit that ripen in the sun acquire unforgettable aroma. Tomato does not have high requirements regarding soil, but the proper fertilisation of the culture is absolutely necessary.
