Paul's Glory is an intriguing hosta variety with a light leaf centres and bluish-green edge. This magnificent variety is like a garden chameleon. Its foliage is bright and saturated in the spring and its colours seem to melt. The colours subdue with time, giving way to the pattern that becomes clearly visible. A young Paul's Glory hosta produces frilled leaves with short petioles, while older specimens form tufts consisting of long-stalked and flat leaves. Presented variety tolerates more sunlight than other hostas. It grows up to 40 centimetres tall and the leaf rosettes can become 65 centimetres wide, measured in diameter.

You can plant hosta rhizomes in the garden and in pots almost all season long. Spring and summer, from April to August, is the best time for this activity. Place seedlings ten to twelve centimetres deep in the soil. These plants spread relatively quickly and form rich, ornamental tufts. Almost all hosta varieties like shady sites or at least partial shade. They thrive under tree corollas where most of the sunlight gets lost in the dense foliage. A mixture of sunlight and shade provides those plants with optimal growing conditions. Hosta prefers fertile, humous, continually moist, permeable soils with a slightly acidic reaction.

Indicated price is valid for 1 one first-choice rhizome of the presented hosta variety. The bag with the rhizome is equipped with a label that contains basic plant facts and growing instructions.
