Cucumber ‘Sremski’ is perhaps the most popular cucumber variety in Poland. It is very fertile, with the elongated green fruit that bear whitish stripes on the rough skin. This variety is widely used for souring. Not only does Cucumber ‘Sremski’ taste delicious, but it is also an excellent addition to salads and other recipes.
Growing: sow the seeds 2 centimetres deep into the soil in the second half of May. Grow the plants in rows in 100-120cm spacings, in 10-20cm spacings within each row. This variety prefers moist fertile soils.
