The Sabine Hay daffodil (Narcissus) attracts attention with its two features: an above-average height and a beautiful, warm colouring of its flowers. The up to fifty centimetres (twenty inches) long stalks that are surrounded by erect, grassy leaves, bear flowers that consist of apricot-golden, subtly dentate petals and a small amber cup. Decorative are also the stamens that are bundled inside the small cup. Due to its vigorous growth, the charming Sabine Hay daffodil belongs to best varieties for growing for cut flowers. On the other hand, it can become a wonderful background for the lower daffodil and tulip varieties on a flower bed. An additional advantage of the variety offered here in our store is the sweet, vvery pleasant scent of its flowers.

Plant daffodil bulbs in autumn in moist, humus soil that is not too heavy, compact, or waterlogged. Plants naturalise easily and bloom profusely every year in soil that meets that criteria, that is, in almost every standard garden soil. The site can be sunny or semi-shaded, i.e. remain in shade for several hours a day. Sabine Hay daffodil thrives in a naturalistic garden, e.g. in a loose group under deciduous trees and shrubs. It also wonderfully fits onto flower beds, where we recommend using it both for natural and strict, geometric compositions.

Each package contains three bulbs of the Sabine Hay daffodil, sized twelve to fourteen centimetres (five to six inches) in circumference. Essential growing instructions can be found on the package.
