38 x 22 mm synthetic corks are intended particularly for corking bottles with young wines. It is recommended not to store wines sealed with corks of this kind longer than for 2 to 3 years.

Before corking the corks should be soaked for approximately 3 minutes in boiling water, what gives them elasticity and makes the corking process easier.

Cork dimensions may vary by ±5% depending on the air humidity and temperature.
