Tulips belong to the most beautiful bulbous plants that are grown in gardens. They produce flowers that come in almost complete colour palette. In addition to that they are also easy in cultivation. You should definitely turn your attention to the Yellow variety belonging to the Triumph category. It grows up to 50 cm tall and develops large, conical flowers that consist of sunny yellow petals. They adorn our gardens in spring, in April and May. This variety is easy in cultivation and could be easily naturalized. We recommend to plant it on mixed perennial borders or lawns together with other tulip varieties, such as Rose, Don Quichotte, Blue or Flaming Flag.
The culture starts in autumn with planting of the bulbs. They need to be placed 12 cm deep and 12 cm apart in the soil. Choose sunny or slightly shady sites with a fertile, moderately moist, permeable and moderately compact soil. Tulip Yellow is rather frost-resistant, but we encourage you to cover it in the winter. It should be noted that it may be grown at the same site for several years, although it may cease to bloom as abundantly as before. In such case you only need to dig it out in the summer and plant again in autumn.
One package contains 250 bulbs of the 'Yellow' tulip, sized 11/12 cm. Their Dutch origin guarantees their highest possible quality.
