The ultrasonic deterrent with a movement sensor has an operational range of about 18 metres and at frequency from 15 to 50 kHz. This broad ultrasound range determines the effectiveness of this device. The product has also been equipped with an infrared movement sensor. It reacts on animals with a body temperature within a certain range. The product also emits LED light. The emitted sound waves make animals feel uncomfortable and therefore force them to leave the protected area. These ultrasounds are outside man's hearing, hence the operation of the device will not disturb people even when installed close to the home. Presented device is powered with four AA alkaline batteries.
