The Cherry Brandy bicolour black-eyed Susan is a beautiful variety of a popular garden plant. It differs from its cousins with its large flowers that take on an intriguing crimson-maroon colour. Their charming, elongated petals form a dense whorl around the convex brown-black centre. Spectacular flowers of that variety sit atop 50 to 60 centimetres tall stems. Black-eyed Susan blooms in the second half of summer. In favourable conditions, it produces buds until autumn. The plants take a fairly compact habit that looks nice on flower beds, at borders, and in planters. We recommend planting black-eyed Susan in larger groups that form a colourful patch. Cherry Brandy is a real garden gem. It gets along well with other plants, especially lower growing eastern purple coneflower varieties and dahlia. You can also accentuate their beauty by pairing it with taller species. The flowers of this plant can be cut into bouquets, dried, and used in various arrangements at home.
Black-eyed Susan does not require much of gardener's time as it is fairly easy to cultivate. It requires a sunny spot, and a fertile, sufficiently moist, and well-fertilized soil. That is basically all attention they need.
We hereby offer one seedling of the Cherry Brandy black-eyed Susan. Basic plant information and growing tips were printed on the packaging label.
