The narcissi do not belong to the most demanding garden inhabitants and every type of soil suits them well. Plant them in the fertile, slightly acidic or neutral and permeable soil. They develop well in soils that are rich in humus. Choose sunny or partially shady sites for narcissi cultivation. The bulbs should be planted from mid to late autumn, about 2 to 3 heights of the bulb deep. These bulbs do not need to be excavated before the winter. We recommend to cover them with a thin layer of dried leaves or conifer twigs in colder regions. Split the tufts every three or four years.
