"Gipsy Princess" hyacinth is a variety that produces unique, yellow flowers. Its thick stems that sport large clusters of flowers adorn the garden in April and May. A rosette of narrow leaves grows 25 to 30 centimetres tall (including the flowers). A single hyacinth flower takes a bell shape. They look like fragile, china figurines attached on tiny petioles to the stem. Hyacinth of the presented variety allows you to create a fairy-tale atmosphere in the garden and at home. It dazzles not only with its cheerful flowers, but their wonderful, seducing scent too.

Hyacinths are rather undemanding in regard to the conditions in which they grow. The site needs to be sunny or in partial shade, not excessively moist. Plant the round bulbs that are covered with differently coloured scales in a soil that has been enriched with compost or other organic fertilizer. Planting depth should vary between 10 and 20 centimetres and the plants should be kept 15 to 25 centimetres apart. Cover the site with dried leaves and conifer twigs before the winter. In order to make sure that the blooming remains abundant, excavate the bulbs in the summer and plant them again in autumn.

Hyacinths are often chosen to be the first flowering plants on the beds. They can be used in strict, compositions in showcase places and idyllic corners in home gardens. They also belong to bulb flowers that thrive in pots. Beautiful hyacinth compositions in baskets and ornamental bowls can be adorned indoors and outdoors. They fit well into rock gardens, where they become the main attraction of the season. The exceptionally sweet scented flowers are made to be grown near places that are frequented. We recommend to plant them at different places, some in the sun and some in partial shade. You will significantly extend the blooming period that way. Hyacinths can also be grown for cut flowers. The unique, brightly coloured "Gipsy Princess" is simply excellent for that purpose. Hyacinths belong to the most popular spring bulb flowers. Many gardeners choose them for their large flowers and stunning scent.
