The Rozalynn miniature lily and its nicely shaped flowers will enchant not only lovers of the species. A charming Rozalynn variety that grows lower than most of her relatives, is the best candidate for cultivation in planters and on edgings. Presented variety is famous for its abundant production of light pink flowers with a white spot at the petal base. It belongs to Asiatic lilies and produces flowers in June and July. Blooms gathered in loose clusters delight with the first open bud already. A disease-resistant and winter hardy Rozalynn lily can also be grown for cut flower. Its scentless flowers are the perfect choice if you cannot stand strong floral aromas and at the same time like lily bouquets.

Growing lilies does not require much skill or experience and even garden beginners will master it in no time. Choose sunny sites with a fertile, permeable soil that is constantly moderately moist for planting lily bulbs. You can plant them in spring and summer, both in the garden and in pots or planters. We recommend mulching the ground at the place where you grow lilies to prevent the soil from loss of water, weeds, and overheating. Thanks to this measure growing lilies will also become less time consuming. Planters used for cultivation of lilies must be sufficiently deep. Put a drainage layer at the bottom that will prevent plants from excess humidity that might cause diseases and rotting of the bulbs. In contrary to plants grown in the garden, lilies grown in pots should be excavated before the winter. Store cleaned bulbs in a cool, dark, and dry place until the next planting in the spring of the following year.
