The Vestal Wood Anemone - is a captivating herbaceous perennial, renowned for its abundant white blooms. Each flower consists of 6-7 petals encircling a fluffy, dome-shaped centre adorned with slender stamens. These double blooms make a reliable appearance each spring and are notably more resilient than their single-petalled counterparts. Rising on short stems, they sit elegantly above a backdrop of deeply lobed, verdant leaves. Reaching heights of 15-20 cm, these anemones thrive in humus-rich, fertile, slightly moist, well-draining, and mildly acidic soil.
