The "Cool Evening" daffodil (Narcissus) is a charming, subtle variety with large, split corolla scales coloured salmon pink. The large, pastel coloured blooms of this magnificent plant rise on the 35 - 40 cm tall stalks. This proposed perennial develops numerous, lanceolate, green-grey leaves that form an erect, compact tuft. The "Cool Evening" daffodil is not only a great border decoration, but also a valuable cut flower.
The optimal time for planting daffodil bulbs is end of summer and autumn. Choose bright, sunny or partially shady sites with a permeable, fertile soil that displays a reaction between slightly acidic and slightly basic. The pink-orange-white, stylish flowers of this presented variety harmonise with blooms of other daffodils with split corolla scales, such as "Apricot Whirl", "Doctor Witteveen" or "Flower Parade" to name only a few.
One package contains 50 bulbs of the 'Cool Evening' daffodil, sized 12/14 cm. The basic plant growing instructions have been printed on the package.
