The jute fabric presented here is a Megran product. It offers natural, fully biodegradable frost protection for plants of various kinds.

Jute is manufactured of natural fibre only. That is why it is entirely organic and eco-friendly, particularly when you consider the fact that it is completely biodegradable. It is perfectly suited for protection of ornamental plants and vegetables. You may also cover ornamental bushes and small fruit with it. Since it looks really ornamental, it enjoys huge popularity among gardeners.

The jute fabric offered here is sold in large sheets that you can sew plant protection bags or hoods of. It has a rather loose splice, 105 g/m2, and therefore lets air circulate and the humidity evaporate effectively. At the same time it protects plants from cold and wind. It is particularly well suited for protection during snowless winters, when plants are devoid of the protective snow layer.
