We grow tulips in sunny and semi-shady positions. The best results can be achieved by planting them on humus-rich, well-drained soil with a neutral pH. The species is not planted in wet, clay or heavy soil. In such conditions, the bulbs will quickly rot. Tulip bulbs are planted in autumn, at intervals of 10-15 cm, at a depth equal to three heights of the bulb. After planting, the site should be watered. For optimal visual effect, tulips are planted in groups of several or a dozen pieces. Tulip bulbs do not need to be dug out every year - they are frost-resistant plants. After flowering, remove the stem and flower remnants - we do not allow seeds to set. After the leaves turn yellow and dry, the bulbs can be dug up, cleaned, and stored until planting in the fall. The treatment is carried out every 3-4 years to maintain flowering, divide the bulbs and transplant them to a new place.
