The Flower Parade narcissus, daffodil (Narcissus) is a fascinating, tall variety that develops large, double bicolour flowers. This magnificent and rather undemanding perennial blooms in the middle of spring, end of April and at the beginning of May. It produces straight, bright green, 40 to 45 cm tall stems and erect leaves over which the unique flowers tower. The creamy-white petals of those blooms not only surround the corona, but shoot from the middle of it, too. The corona itself is decoratively split and takes on a lively, yellow-orange colour. The double flowers of the Double Flower daffodil have a sweet scent, what makes them a great material for fresh bouquets. This narcissus is also ideally suited for growing on borders in company of other double and single flowered narcissi (e.g. the Bridal Crown, Eastertide and Jetfire) and the medium early blooming tulips.

It order to achieve large, beautifully coloured flowers, we recommend to plant narcissi bulbs in the full exposure to sunlight or in the partial shade, in a fertile, humous soil with a moderately acidic or neutral reaction. These plants look best in groupings that count a few or over a dozen of them.
