The tree-like Frontera lily with flowers of extraordinary beauty will appeal to the taste of gardeners who like plants that look noble and somewhat exotic. Presented fairy-tale, light-pink lily becomes the object of admiration, regardless if it is planted individually or in larger group on a flowerbed. Its cup-shaped flowers, beautifully arranged on the stems, are accentuated with darker, burgundy streaks running through the centre of the petals and cannot go unnoticed. A drop of green at the very base of the cup provides another, refreshing, and charming note. The long anthers and pistil are the source of a pleasant scent. The Frontera lily belongs to OT hybrids that stand out with substantial height, 100 to 120 centimetres, and excellent hardiness. It is frost-resistant, what means that you can enjoy it for at least several seasons. The abundant flowering of the Frontera tree lily is put on full display in July.
To give them best possible conditions for development, plant lily bulbs at a sunny or slightly shady site. A permeable, medium compact soil that is rich in humus and nutrients, suits this species particularly well. Keep lily bulbs at least 30 to 35 centimetres apart when planting them in larger groups, due to the strong growth of the variety. Lilies do not need to be dug out before the winter. Do not forget to cover the site with mulch or other insulating layer during extremely frosty and snowless winters. Removing wilted flowers strengthens the bulbs, as the plants do not lose energy on producing seeds.
Each package contains one bulb of the Frontera tree lily, sized 24/+ centimetres in circumference. Basic plant facts and growing instructions were printed on the package label.
