The common foxglove with white-and-crimson flowers constitutes a real highlight of the garden during its flowering period. It grows over one metre tall. A solid stem grows from a rosette of basal leaves. Bell-shaped flowers, the main feature of the plant, develop in its upper part. The one-sided spike comes in a unique combination of colours. Pure white and dark crimson offer a stunning contrast. Foxgloves are a common sight on flower beds and in naturalistic plantings. The look great combined with lower growing species. You can cut its flowers and display them in a vase, but remember that the plant is poisonous. It blooms from June to July.

To successfully grow foxglove, you would need a partially shaded place, where the plant will be protected from scorching sun. A well-drained, fertile, and slightly acidic soil suits it best. It frequently propagates by self-seeding. Trim the stem after the flowering period to stimulate the plant to produce new flowers.

We hereby offer one seedling of the white-and-crimson flowered common foxglove. Look for the basic plant facts and growing instructions on the label.
