Siberian iris Light of Heart is a plant with spectacular, uniquely coloured flowers. The combination of various shades of purple, blue, and pink with luminescent golden spots and a mesh of darker venation, offers the one-and-only spectacle that only Siberian irs can provide. The harmonious colour mix and the typical form of flowers delight from June to July. Outside this period, Siberian iris adorns its vicinity with a green, tuft-like, erect habit. Abundant tufts of tall, 80 to 85 centimetres tall, grassy, evenly green leaves perfectly complement plants with rounded or deeply dentate foliage. Siberian iris tolerates excess moisture, and can be planted along the banks of water reservoirs and streams.

Plant iris rhizomes in spring and autumn. A suitable position for this species should be bright or slightly shaded. Do not forget that iris blooms poorly in full shade. Irises of this group prefer moist, even waterlogged sites and fertile, humous, peat soil with a neutral or slightly acidic reaction. Siberian irises are resistant to low temperatures, and can grow for 6 or 7 years at the same site. Rejuvenate plants by digging out and splitting overgrown rhizomes.

Each package contains one seedling of the Siberian iris Light of Heart. Packaging label contains basic plant facts and a quick growing guide.
