The active charcoal made of Siberian birch wood is an organic product intended for absorbing undesired taste and aroma altering substances from distillates and drinking water. It allows for effective purification, giving you a harmonious taste and aroma of the liquid. It eliminates mineral compounds, but does not completely remove the characteristic taste and fragrance of the filtered distillate that lovers of home distillery value so much. It owes its excellent properties to its porous structure that this coal acquires during the production process. The numerous cannulas increase the working surface of the coal and clarify the liquids more effectively.

Use of the active charcoal produced of Siberian birch wood is not complicated. Let's start with rinsing the coal. Start with hot water and continue with tap or demineralized water. Rinse until you get rid of all dust particles. Place the coal in the tower filter up to 1 cm below the inflow channel. The minimum filtration time for 1 litre of liquid is 1 hour. The temperature of the distillate is important - we recommend to lower it to 10⁰C for the best results.
