Plant bulbs in relatively large distances to prevent the unfolding flowers from interfering with each other. Plant bulbs from ten to fifteen centimetres deep into a fertile, moderately moist soil that is not too compact and has a proper drainage layer. The soil should be fertilized down to thirty centimetres deep. Its reaction should be slightly acidic. A site where the bulb would remain in the shade and the overground part could bask in the sun would be perfect. If you cannot find one in your garden, mulching the ground with peat is a good solution. We recommend feeding lilies a few times during every season to achieve the optimal growing results.
