The Yellow Planet trumpet lily is a large plant that strikes with its beauty. This noble and elegant lily proves to be unmatched with a bright juicy colour. Its huge funnel-shaped flowers that appear on the sturdy stems in large numbers surprise with an unforgettable charm. These clean gold, scented lilies can decorate all spots where they can turn their blooms towards the sun. The 90 to 120 centimetres tall plants supply excellent material for planting behind smaller plants that would cover the lower part of the shoots. Large trumpets of this variety appear already in June. The gradually developing flowers adorn flower beds and lawns for two to three weeks.

Growing healthy and great looking trumpet lilies is not difficult. We can recommend those plants to all those gardeners who only start their growing experience. Plant bulbs in relatively large distances to prevent the unfolding flowers from interfering with each other. Plant bulbs from ten to fifteen centimetres deep into a fertile, moderately moist soil that is not too compact and has a proper drainage layer. The soil should be fertilized down to thirty centimetres deep. Its reaction should be slightly acidic. A site where the bulb would remain in the shade and the overground part could bask in the sun would be perfect. If you cannot find one in your garden, mulching the ground with peat is a good solution. We recommend feeding lilies a few times during every season to achieve the optimal growing results.

We hereby offer a 10 piece pack of Yellow Planet trumpet lily bulbs, sized 18/20 cm. A label with the key plant facts and growing instructions can be found on every package.
