Fragrant Jewel belongs to the most fragrant daffodils. The lovely, double narcissus with creamy-white sepals that interchange with yellow parts of the cup is delightful. Brightly coloured flowers on plants of average height constitute an excellent complementing part of spring compositions of bulbous flowers and perennial beds. Unpretentiously charming daffodils can be planted in rock gardens, on borders, and in decorative pots. They look fresh and joyful in groups. Their scent in the air heralds the approaching spring. The Fragrant Jewel daffodil offered here in our store lives up to its name. This is a real fragrant gem!
Plant daffodil bulbs from August to the end of October. A suitable site should be sunny or partially shaded, with quickly drying and moderately fertile soil. Keep bulbs fifteen centimetres (six inches) apart when planting to let them develop freely. A daffodil can grow on the same site for several years. Dig out bulbs every five years, preferably in August. Split them and move to a new position. In order for daffodils to delight each year, fertilize and water them regularly. Trim wilted flowers to prevent plants from setting seeds.
Package contains 250 bulbs of the Fragrant Jewel daffodil. Basic plant facts and growing tips were printed on the package label.
