Urea, the all-purpose nitrogen fertilizer from Planta®, available here in 5 kg packages, is a preparation that proves to be indispensable in industrial farming and in the gardens. This powdery product is water soluble. You may use it by broadcasting, both as a starter fertilizer before setting up a culture, and as top dressing on the already growing crops. Urea nourishes the plants with its basic nutritional element - nitrogen, but it also increases their resistance to diseases, improves absorption of other nutrients and beneficially affects yield volume. The nitrogen it contains is delivered in amide form, that is particularly well absorbed by the foliage. Weak, disease-stricken plants that require immediate action may be dusted - dissolve the appropriate dose (manufacturer's dosing guidelines can be found in the package information) of the product in water. Properly prepared solution will instantly supplement plants and improve their condition without risking burns. Urea in liquid form may be applied together with the magnesium sulphate. We recommend to add it to plant protection agents as it will significantly improve their performacnce.

This is an EC-certified fertilizer, what means that its contents comply with European Union norms. It contains 46% of amide nitrogen and can be applied from March to August.

One package - a plastic bag - contains 5 kg Uera, the all-purpose nitrogen fertilizer. That amount allows you to fertilize up to 500 m2 of any given plant culture.

Application method:
we recommend to determine the right dose of the urea that is applied to the soil or foliage according to the soil analysis, culture type, its condition and nutritional requirements. Should you turn to top dressing, we recommend to cover the distributed fertilizer with a layer of soil in order to avoid nitrogen loss. Water the plants after the soil application. Foliar application: apply the 5% urea solution (5 kg per 100 litres of water). The combined application together with plant protection agents is allowed, provided the manufacturer of such agents permits it. Dusting should be performed at low exposure to sunlight, preferably in the evening. Do not dust on hot days. Foliar application on a lawn: the treatment can take place starting in early spring, use a 10% water solution of urea, at a rate of 0.25 litre per 1 m2. Spring cereals: 0.5-2.5 kg per 100 m2 - 40%of the dose before the sow, 60% during the shooting phase. Winter cereals: 1.0-3.0 kg per 100 m2 - 40% of the dose early in spring, 60% of the dose during the shooting phase. Beetroots 2.5-3.5 kg per 100 m2, potatoes 0.5-3.5 kg per 100 m2, corn (maize) 1.0-4.0 kg per 100 m2 - 70% of the dose before the sow, 30% of the dose per top dressing. Grasses and grasslands: 1.0-4.0 kg per 100 m2, Fabaceae and legumes 0.2-0.8 kg per 100 m2 - 40% of the dose early in spring, 30 % after the first cut or grazing, 30% after the second cut or grazing. Vegetables 1.0-2.0 kg per 100 m2, cabbage, cauliflower 3.0-4.0 kg per 100 m2 - 40% of the dose before the sow, 60% per top dressing. Strawberries 0.8-2.0 kg per 100 m2 - 40% of the dose early in spring, 60% of the dose after the harvest.
