Potassium salpeter, a nitrogen-potassium fertilizer from Planta®, available here in 5 kg bags, is a preparation intended for soil and foliar application of all vegetables, fruits and ornamental plants. As a two-component fertilizer, the granulate offered here enables you to quickly replenish deficiencies of the specific, basic nutrients that are available in easily assimilable form. It does not cause soil salinity, what could negatively influence plants' vigour, resistance and crop-bearing potential. Presented preparation is also chloride-free, making it safe to apply on all plant species particularly sensitive to higher chloride levels in the soil.

Potassium salpeter stands out with quick action and excellent efficiency and can be applied in professional, industrial and amateur cultures. Presented product belongs to EC fertilizers that comply with highest EU standards regarding fertilizers. It can be applied per broadcasting or as a water solution. The latter can be used both in soil and foliar application - the second method is particularly recommended in case of visible potassium deficiencies that result in hampered growth, weak propagation and decrease of yield volume and/or quality. In case of plants plagued by a disease or attacked by pests, dusting with a plant protection agent may be combined with foliar application of the potassium salpeter. This treatment will additionally strengthen and nourish the plant.

Detailed instructions of use, dosage guidelines and the recommended application times were all printed on the package. One package contains 5 kg of potassium salpeter from Planta®.

Application method:
dissolve in water before introducing the solution into the irrigation system. Add the potassium saltpetre to the water and not the other way round - stirring speeds up the dissolution. Do not combine the potassium saltpetre with lime fertilizers. Application in liquid form: the concentration of the solution should be adjusted to the type of the plant and its development stage. The potassium saltpetre should be applied at the rate of 50-80 grams/100 litres of water (a 500-800 ppm solution) when used regularly in the traditional cultures. The optimal proportion of the N and K nutrients for the majority of plants is 1 - 1.5. Foliar application: 0.5%-1% of the fertilizer solution (0.5-1 kg/100 litres of water) - depending on the plant size. Perform the dusting at temperatures not higher than 20°C, preferably in the evening. Do not apply during drought or rainfall. Make sure to distribute the fertilizer evenly.
