Bicolour caladium, also known as elephant ear, "Cardinal" (Caladium bicolor) is an extraordinarily ornamental plant that is commonly grown in pots and greenhouses. It owes its great popularity to the ornamental foliage that takes on different colours. The "Cardinal" variety develops large, heart-shaped, elongated leaves. Their centres take on a carmine-red colour that turns into bright green at the edges.
