The "Habanero Lemon" spicy yellow pepper (Capsicum chinense) is an excellent variety intended for growing in containers, under covers and in the open field. The small plant grows circa 80 cm tall and develops a well-rounded, bushy habit that becomes even more decorative thanks to its lemon-yellow fruit. "Habanero Lemon" peppers take on a conical shape, with slightly waved surface covered by a very shiny, beautifully coloured skin. They are tiny (up to 5 cm long) and very, very hot (they score 200,000 points on the Scoville scale). At the same time, their flesh has a distinctly fruity taste and aroma. The proposed variety can be grown as an ornamental plant on the terrace, balcony or in the garden. Its fruit are used as a very hot, warming spice, both raw and dried and ground.

Seeds of "Habanero Lemon" pepper should be sown in the spring under heated covers, at a hotbed or at home, in a warm and bright room. The variety presented in our store comes from the Caribbean and requires temperatures above 17° C to bring fruit. The plant will thrive in the universal vegetables and herb soil in containers. In field cultivation it prefers humus-rich, not too heavy and sufficiently moist soils. Fruit are ready for harvest after approx. 90-100 days of vegetation.

Note: Sow seeds of the"Habanero" pepper in gloves and immediately after carrying that task wash your hands thoroughly.
