The 'Parthenon F1' courgette (Cucurbita pepo var. giromontina) is a valuable, parthenocarpic heterotic variety. The cultivar offered here surprises with high yield and sensational fruit quality. These courgettes are large, elongated and cylindrical in shape. They are covered with a smooth, dark green skin, which effectively protects the delicious, creamy flesh. Thanks to the properties of the parthenocarpic varieties, the courgettes of this hybrid variety do not produce seeds. This feature significantly increases their culinary value. The seed-free fruit can be served in a variety of ways without the need for cumbersome removing of the cores and with no losses to the flesh. They are perfect for processing, baking, frying in slices, making into vegetable puree and production of delicious homemade sandwich spreads. The tender and delicious zucchini flesh is also digestible and rich in vitamins. It contains B1, B3, C, K vitamins as well as potassium, magnesium, iron and smaller amounts of other micronutrients. The regular consumption of courgette helps to remove the excess water from the body, facilitates weight loss, deacidifies the body and detoxifies it.

The cultivation of the presented F1 hybrid variety will be successful on a fertile, humous, permeable garden soil. Sow the 'Parthenon F1' courgette seeds are sown directly onto the field. The plants are vigorous and resistant. They will bring a high yield of large, delicious fruit on a warm and sunny position.
