Late parsley of (Petroselinum hortense) "Hamburg HS" variety dependably provides a rich harvest of long, pale, smooth, delicious roots. They have a cylindrical shape and do not show a tendency to brown. Another great advantage of the proposed variety is high resistance to all diseases threatening root vegetables and to frost.

Seeds can be sown into soil the whole spring long or in early autumn. It is advised to choose a sunny, warm site with a permeable, but neither sandy, nor too dry soil that should be fertilised with compost. Slender, aromatic roots of "Hamburg HS" parsley can be harvested in May - June or August - September. Those grown from the autumn sowing could winter in the ground. Harvested crops can be stored, preserved or eaten shortly after harvest. Both parsley leaves and roots contain plenty of vitamin C and other mineral nutrients, particularly iron.

Each packet contains 5 g of late "Hamburg HS" parsley. Growing guide and sow-by date are included in the package information.
