The mallow-wort (Malope trifida), offered her in a variety mix, is a tall annual plant that produces magnificent flowers. It is also known as annual malope, maloppi or purple Spanish mallow and closely related to the common mallow. It grows up 90-120 cm tall and develops a strong, erect habit. Its thick shoots spread quite intensively and are densely leaved. Magnificent, large (up to 8 cm in diameter), cup-shaped, glossy flowers develop on their tops in the early summer. The mix of varieties offered in our store contains mallow-wort seeds that will enable to grow and enjoy white, dark and light pink flowers. Their petals are decorated with dark veins and are decorated with greenish marks at the base, that together form an outline of a star that is clearly visible at the bottom of the perianth. The high decorative value of the mallow-wort, combined with the easy cultivation, makes the proposed plant an ideal solution for flowerbeds, borders and for groupings alongside house walls or fences.

Malope seeds can be sown indoors early in spring or directly to the borders at the end of May. Although the presented plant shows strong growth and abundant, long-lasting blooming, it does not need any excessive care. It will succeed on any averagely fertile garden soil, at a sunny site. It blooms from the end of June / beginning of July until autumn, so it harmonizes with annuals, biennials and perennials of late summer, such as: asters, zinnias, hollyhocks, snapdragons, rudbeckias, phloxes and coneflowers

One package contains 2 g of the mallow-wort colour selection seeds. The sow-by date and plant growing instructions have been printed at the back of the package.
