Pearl oyster mushroom, tree oyster mushroom - Large package - 100 mycelium spawn plugs

This mushroom belongs to the most commonly picked oyster mushrooms worldwide. Its cap grows from 5 to 25 cm long. The younger fungi take on an arched shape that changes to fan- or funnel-shaped with time. This mushroom takes on various colours, from brown and grey-brown, through silvery and steely blue, to pale purple. It has densely set gills that grow from the stem. It contains plenty of easily assimilable proteins and little sugars. It also constitutes a rich source of magnesium, phosphorus, calcium, potassium, iron, zinc and selenium. You will also find some cancer-inhibiting agents in these fungi. Consumption of oyster mushrooms helps lower the cholesterol level in blood. They can be dried, pickled and frozen.
