The Rejoice netted iris is a spring bulbous perennial whose flowers quickly catch the eye. Their distinct, crimson-purple colour beautifully revives the still gray post-winter garden. Tiny, only about fifteen centimetres (six inches) tall netted irises delight with their subtle beauty. Their fancifully formed flowers consist of six petals, three of which rise upwards and three gently curve downwards. A characteristic feature of a netted iris is a beautiful pattern at the base of the lower petals, which gives the flowers a unique elegance. Each planted bulb produces one or two narrow, gray-green, grassy leaves. The flowers appear on the tops of erect, stiff stems. Netted irises bloom together with crocuses, allowing you to create fabulous compositions that burst with saturated colours. They are a fantastic decoration of rock gardens and areas under still leafless trees. Rejoice irises look brilliant on borders and along the sidewalks. They can decorate water reservoirs, but make an equally good figure in pots and baskets.

Netted iris prefers full sun and light, slightly sandy soil that does not waterlog. Provide plants with appropriate drainage in heavy, clay soils. Plant netted iris bulbs in September and October, or even later, if the weather permits. Plant small bulbs six to eight centimetres (about two to three inches) deep and eight to ten centimetres (three to four inches) apart. Cover the site at the end of autumn.

Each package contains ten bulbs of the Rejoice netted iris. Basic plant facts and growing tips were printed on the package label.
