Rose Star Petunia is an annual plant which grows 25 to 30 centimetres in height. Thanks to its shape and form this variety is suitable for flower beds, borders, and various types of containers, including balcony planters or pots. Rose Star Petunia has an exceptionally long flowering period, which spans from May all the way to October. During that time, this variety flowers most abundantly.
Growing: sow the seeds under heated cover from February to April. The seeds germinate in 10 to 15 days at 24-25oC. The seedlings need to be pricked out. Plant out into a permanent position in 20x30-40cm spacings in the second half of May. The plants grow well in any type of medium moist soil in sunny positions. 0.25g of seeds produces around one thousand plants.
