The "Senator" sweet pea (Lathyrus odoratus Senator) is one of the most beautiful varieties of the charming, annual creeper that is so popular in Polish gardens. The plant offered here grow up to 120 cm tall. From June until September they produce myriads of ivory flowers with intricate, chocolate marbling. Because it is sturdy and light, it can cover wire fences, gazebos and treillages. It grows well on well-lighted balocnies. The sweet-scented blooms will adorn fresh bouquets.

Sweet pea seeds of the "Senator" variety should be sown directly to the target location from end of March until April in 30x20 cm spacings. These plant prefer moderately moist, well drained, weeded soils that are rich in humus. They produce the most blooms on sunny sites.
