White summer hoary stock "Excelsior" (Matthiola incana annua) is the impersonated elegance and grace. Long, tall stems of this great annual plant produce dozens of double, extremely decorative, snow white blooms. Subdued, dark green colour of the spiky leaves, sprouting underneath the eary inflorescences form great contrast to the clean white of the petals.

We recommend to sow the white summer hoary stock seeds into boxes, indoor greenhouses and hot beds in the spring. After the last May frosts are gone, robust seedlings of this plant are transplanted to borders , where they quickly start to grow. First buds would open in June. The blooming ends in August.
